Modelling of Cyber Physical Systems
During my studies and my professional career I had experience in several processes from industry to avionics:
- helicopters models and vibration compensation
- compensation of high voltage industrial transformers
- electric power plants with focus on biomass gasification plants
- metals production mills.
Optimisation technologies
Starting from my PhD I experienced the use of mathematical optimisation technologies based on multiple optimisation engines (e.g. Linear Matrix Intequality, Mixed Integer Linear Programming, Constrainted Linear Programming, etc.).
Editorial Activities
I am currently associate editor of IFAC Control Engineering in Parctice and vice-chair of
the
IFAC Technical Committee TC 6.2. on Mining, Mineral and Metal Processing. Moreover, I have been associate editor of the IEEE Transactions on Control Systems Technology. I am author/co-author of about 50 scientific papers published in internaltional journals and conferences concerning automation and control solutions.

I am quite interested in stock markets and personal finance based on common funds, ETF, ETC, forex, etc.
